IMAGE ARTS

I really believe there are things nobody would see if I didn't photograph them.

-Diane Arbus

It is said a photograph is worth a thousand words. In today’s modern fast-paced society this sentiment rings true more then ever. Many times people don’t remember what was said; they remember instead what they saw.

Images are important in every sector of the media. They provide a visual accompaniment to a story that is many times more powerful then the words themselves.

The Image Arts program stream takes creative photography to the next level. By studying the elements of composition, digital photographic techniques and visual communication your understanding of the many facets of a creative industry will become clear.

From cinematography to magazine shoots and art pieces - after you learn the basics your creative potential will be limitless. Access to an innovative photography studio and print lab will enable you to build a professional portfolio and experiment with cutting edge techniques.
