BURLI - using the Wave Wizard

The Wave Wizard combines separately recorded wave files, optionally underlaying them with a background audio track. The Wizard does not alter the original files; instead, it creates a new file containing the combined audio.

The Wave Wizard is ideal for handling music request programs, news reports, and more.

To load the Wave Wizard

Click the Wave Wizard icon on the Burli tool bar, or press Ctrl-W on the keyboard. A local folder must be visible in the bottom window pane before loading the Wizard, as only audio files in local folders can be combined.

To combine audio clips

Burli lists the audio files in the currently displayed local folder. Click the check box next to the audio clips that are to be combined. If the clip order needs rearranging, drag-and-drop the files in the Wave Wizard list.

To combine the files, click the Build button; Burli creates a new file (slug line) in the local folder entitled 'Untitled Wave Wizard Mix'. Note that Burli will not combine audio files recorded at different sample rates.
